Rise and shine!
It’s Easter morning at the Seaside, and you can literally greet the sunrise from your room, our hot tub deck, or walk a few steps out our doors and onto the front lawn or beach! It’s one of the most glorious ways to start your Easter day.
Steps down the beach, at Narragansett Point between Gooch’s and Middle Beaches, is our annual community Easter Sunrise Service starting at 6:10 a.m. Sunday, April 9. The ecumenical service of song, scripture and celebration is free and open to all; it is led by clergy from Christ Church Kennebunk/West Kennebunk United Methodist Church, First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church, Kennebunk, Saint David’s Episcopal Church, and South Congregational Church Kennebunkport.
There is also a sunrise service at Blowing Cave on Ocean Avenue, just across the river from the Seaside Inn, starting at 6 a.m., led by Village Baptist Church in Kennebunkport.
If Easter brunch is more your thing, here is a list of local options, compiled by our local Chamber of Commerce.
